What was the scariest moment of your life?
I remember the day vividly. It was the summer after my first year of college and I was driving home from a party. I’d been drinking and smoking cigarettes all night and I was feeling really buzzed. As I pulled into my driveway, I saw a car parked in front of my house. The driver’s door was open, so I assumed that someone had just left. As I got closer, however, I realized that the person in the car wasn’t leaving; they were dead. They had been shot several times in the head and chest.
How did you handle the scare?
When I was 7 years old, I was in the back of my family’s car on the way to my grandma’s house. My brother and I were playing with our Matchbox cars when suddenly, out of nowhere, a red Jeep Cherokee came speeding towards us. My brother and I screamed and tried to get away from the car, but it was too late. The Jeep crashed into the back of our car, sending us flying through the air. We landed head-first on the asphalt, causing scratches and bruises all over our bodies. It was the scariest moment of my life. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured in the crash.
What can you do to avoid scary moments in the future?
If you’re like most people, you have some pretty scary moments in your life. Maybe it was when you were alone in the dark and a shadow appeared out of nowhere. Or maybe it was when you had to give a presentation in front of your classmates and all of the sudden, your stomach started doing flips. Whatever the case may be, there’s no doubt that scary moments can be pretty terrifying.
So what can you do to avoid these scary moments in the future? Well, there are a few things that you can do to help make yourself less likely to experience a scary moment in the first place. First of all, always make sure that you’re keeping an eye out for potential danger. If something seems off, don’t hesitate to head out of the situation or call for help.
Another thing that you can do is practice self-defense techniques. This not only helps to protect yourself from physical harm, but it also helps to relax and calm your mind in times of stress. Finally, keep a journal so that you can document your most frightening experiences so that you can look back on them later and see how they’ve helped to shape who you are as a person.
