For many people, gaming is a way to escape reality. Whether it’s spending hours in a virtual world or immersing yourself in a new book, gaming can be a very satisfying activity. In this blog post, we want to explore what makes some games so special and why they have such a strong following. We will also discuss the various elements that make up a great game, and how you can create similar experiences for your readers. By understanding what makes games tick, you can improve your own writing and make your readers feel more connected to your work.
What is your favourite game?
There are a few games that have always held a special place in my heart, regardless of how often I play them. These games are classics that I have played multiple times and continue to enjoy.
My favourite game is Super Mario World. It was the first game that I ever played on a Nintendo console, and it has remained one of my favourites ever since. Even though I’ve played through it hundreds of times, each time is new and exciting. The levels are diverse and challenging, but never too difficult, and the Bosses are always a blast to face. The level design is genius, with everything from tight caves to expansive worlds full of secrets. The controls are super responsive, making it easy for me to control Mario as he jumps, climbs, and explores his way through the game. And best of all, there’s never a dull moment – no matter how many times I’ve played it!
Another game that stands out for me is Sonic Adventure 2. It was the first Sonic game that I ever played (back when Sonic only appeared in video games once every few years), and at the time it blew my mind. Not only did it feature fast-paced actionpacked gameplay reminiscent of classic racing games like Mario Kart 64; but it also featured an interesting story packed full of twists and turns. And even though I’ve already completed this game multiple times (most recently as part of Sonic Mania), each playthrough still offers something new
How has this game influenced your life?
I don’t think I can fully explain how much this game has influenced my life. There are so many great memories tied to it, from when I was just a kid trying to make my way through the first game, to growing up and playing with friends, to finally mastering the series as an adult. It’s been such a huge part of my life that it’s hard to imagine living without it.
All of these memories make me really happy, and I’m sure they’ve done the same for a lot of other people too. This game has made me laugh, cry (usually in frustration), and feel all kinds of different emotions. It’s become such an important part of my life that I couldn’t imagine going through life without it. So thank you, Nintendo – thank you for making one of the greatest games ever!
