MarineNet is the online training portal for the United States Marine Corps USMC. It provides various courses and training materials for Marines. Proctor codes are used for course proctoring, especially for exams and assessments. Here is a step-by-step guide to generating a proctor code on MarineNet.
Step 1 – MarineNet Login
Go to the MarineNet website (https://www.marinenet.usmc.mil/) and log in to your account with your credentials. If you don’t have an account, you need to register.
Step 2 – Navigate
After MarineNet Login, navigate to the section or course to generate a proctor code. You’ll find options near or under exam or assessment-related options.
Step 3 – Generate Proctor Code
Look for an option to generate a proctor code under the course or exam settings.
Step 4 – Follow the Prompts
If you find the option to generate a proctor code, follow the on-screen prompts. Please provide specific details such as the purpose of the proctor code, the duration it will be valid, and any other relevant information.
Step 5 – Share the Proctor Code
After generating the proctor code, you will see it on the screen. Make sure to note it down or copy it. You’ll need to share this code with your designated proctor (a responsible individual who will oversee the exam or assessment) so they can use it to access and monitor the exam.
Step 6 – Proctor Responsibilities
Ensure your proctor knows their responsibilities and how to use the proctor code to access the exam. They will need to follow the instructions provided by MarineNet USMC for proctoring the assessment.
Step 7 – Complete the Assessment
After the proctor has successfully accessed the exam using the proctor code, proceed to take the assessment under their supervision.
How to Become a Proctor on Marinenet
To become a proctor on MarineNet Boodle, you must meet specific requirements and complete the Proctor Certification course (MNET0110PC). Here are the steps and needs to become a proctor:
Meet Rank Requirements
You must be at least an E-6 (Staff Sergeant) or above for most courses to become a proctor.
For specific courses like EPME3000AA or EPME4000AA, you may qualify as an E-5 (Sergeant) or above.
Complete the Proctor Certification Course (MNET0110PC)
You must complete the Proctor Certification course offered on MarineNet USMC.
To find this course, log in to your MarineNet account and search for “MNET0110PC” or check the available courses on the platform.
Enroll and follow the steps to complete it. The course will provide you with essential information on proctoring exams.
You must be senior in rank to the student you are proctoring. You must have a higher level than the student taking the exam.
Once you have met these requirements and completed the Proctor Certification course, you should be eligible to serve as a proctor for MarineNet exams. Proctoring involves supervising and ensuring the integrity of online exams taken by other Marines. If you have any specific questions or encounter issues during this process, contact the MarineNet support team or your unit’s education officer for assistance and guidance.
